Hockey has always been a big part of my life, and it originated in Utica, NY
My father would always take me to games in the Utica Memorial Auditorium, or just The Aud
as it's lovingly referred to.
For most of my childhood there was a revolving door of teams that called The Aud their home rink, even if the teams changed frequently, there was always a team. Until one day there wasn't
Years passed without one of our favorite passtimes, until one day my father was gifted a couple tickets to a D3 college team now playing at the Aud. He wasn't interested in paying to see such low level of hockey, so he gave them to me. I went, and I was immedietly hooked
Ten years later, my father and I have been season ticket holders every year after that first game.
I really like Utica College's jerseys, but I feel like they would be better if they used their moose logo as the main crest, instead of the circular logo used here as the shoulder patch.
There also so many teams that use navy blue as a main color, so I switched it up and made the main color their orange, so that they would stand out from the pack.
